Indo-Pak mutual cooperation can bring economic prosperity: Nawaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that India and Pakistan can achieve the goal of economic prosperity for the benefit of people of their countries through increased mutual cooperation in economic field. He said this while talking to Bihar (Indian province) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who along with his delegation members called on him at his Raiwind residence on Thursday.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on Indo-Pak relations, economic cooperation between the two countries and other matters of mutual interest. Talking to the delegation, Nawaz emphasised the need for resolving issues between the two countries through purposeful talks. He was of the view that people of the two countries would be real beneficiary by improving relations between the two countries. "With the strengthening of economies of India and Pakistan, the living standard of people of both sides would improve," he said. He welcomed frequent exchange of delegations between India and Pakistan.
