Devolo is offering a security camera for the garden or garage. The dLAN Live Cam can send its images via Powerline technology through the electricity network to a router. A free app allows smartphone or tablet users to view the video stream from anywhere in the world to reassure themselves that everything at home is all right.
The camera can record video at up to 20 frames per second with a resolution of 640 X 480 pixels. The device is scheduled to go on sale this month for 100 euros.
