A dacoit was killed in an encounter in Metrovile area in the limits of Site-A police station. According to details, an encounter between police and dacoits took place in Metrovile, SITE area wherein a dacoit, Shamsuddin, was killed while his accomplice managed to flee.
Police said the deceased along with his accomplices was busy in looting a pedestrian, Jameel Ahmed, when a police party reached at the spot and signalled the dacoit to stop, but they started firing and tried to escape.
Police retaliated the fire wherein Shamsuddin was killed while his accomplice managed to flee.
