Recently an annual dinner and reward recognition ceremony was held at Pakistan American Cultural Center (PACC). It was truly an auspicious occasion. The dinner was arranged to commemorate the achievements during the past one year, and also to look forward towards future years.
On this occasion Rafiq Tabani, President Governing Board, highlighted the important achievements and congratulated all the awardees. The President then presented awards to staff and faculty members. The evening was graced by the presence of PACC' s past presidents, much revered past and present GB members, PACC members, esteemed guests, faculty and staff.
Some renowned dignitaries also graced the sparkling and festive evening- such as: Hussain Dawood eminent businessman and PACC member; Abdul Ahad Khaliqyar, Consul General of Afghanistan; Hans Juergen Paschoke, Consul & Deputy Head of Mission of Germany and Kristin Haworth, Cultural Affairs Officer US Consulate. This time, the annual dinner had many new additions. This included the introduction of recognition of the board members as well as change in the format of the awards.
President Rafiq Tabani thanked all members for their supports and appreciation in restoring its former glory. The programme received tremendous praise and appreciation. PACC has been a major hub of artistic and cultural activities; it is a non-political non-profit making organisation. PACC has been synonymous with education and cultural activities for more than 53 years; it has achieved a pioneer status in language teaching and cultural promotion. PACC provides quality courses to the people who are looking for careers and personality development since 1959; it has earned a reputation for delivering outstanding quality in education and events.-PR
