Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday observed Gaza Solidarity Day to express solidarity with the innocent people of Gaza who were brutally attacked by Israeli forces. MQM organised prayer gatherings at party's units, sectors and Zone offices to mark the day. They condemned the killing of innocent Palestinians by Israel. In this regard MQM staged protest rally outside Jinnah Ground to condemn the Israeli aggression against Palestine Muslims.
The participants carrying placards and banners were chanting slogans against Israeli aggression and killing of innocent people. Members of Co-ordination Committee, MNAs, MPAs, Senators and women activists were also present on the occasion. Addressing the rally MQM leader Wasim Aftab said that United Nation Organisation (UNO) has failed to maintain peace in the world, adding that killing of innocent people in Gaza was barbaric act of Israeli forces. Gaza Solidarity Day was also observed in other parts of the province.
