Protesting doctors ordered to vacate accommodations

The government of Balochistan has decided to ban protesting doctors from hospitals and ordered them to vacant their official accommodations immediately. Meanwhile, following the call from the authorities FC personnel were deployed outside public hospitals to avoid any untoward situation. Hospital emergency wards reopened after some of the doctors returned to their duties, a private television channel reported Tuesday.
Doctors have announced to continue their protest till recovery of the abducted Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan. Following the approval of his bail petition by a session court in Quetta, Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan chapter President Dr Sultan Tareen talking to media representatives said suspensions, arrests, transfers and other tactics could not demoralise them.
