Coalmine blast kills two labourers in Kurram Agency

Two labourers were killed and two others sustained injuries in a coalmine explosion in central Kurram Agency on Tuesday. Dozens of labourers were busy in routine labouring in side a coalmine owned by Sher Khan a resident of Danda locality in central Kurram Agency, when suddenly, a blast took place at the mine around at 11am, locals said.
There are two different views regarding the explosion that it has either been happened owing to the explosive present at the coalmine, or it occurred after the gas filled inside the mine, which caused a blast. The locals after hectic efforts recovered the injured four labourers. A total of four labourers Usman, Zardad, Mir Zaman and Inamullah sustained severe wounds in the explosion, who were rushed to a nearby hospital, however, Mir Zaman and Inamullah died on way to hospital. While the critically injured Usman and Zardad were referred to Peshawar. All the four labourers belonged to Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
