Pakistan Muslim League-N central leader and leader of the Opposition Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday said masses are anxiously waiting for the general polls to get rid of Pakistan Peoples' Party. Talking to INP, Nisar flatly rebuffed the possibility of the PML-N alliance with the PPP in the post-elections scenario. "It is merely a propaganda aimed at giving a support to the PPP sinking ship," he added.
He said may Almighty Allah protect PML-N even from the shadow of PPP, adding it would be beyond comprehension to enter into an alliance with the party which has set up new records of corruption and mismanagement, ruined the state institutions, and brought the country on the verge of disaster during quarter-to- five-year rule. The leader of the opposition said that the media took the statement of the PML-N President Nawaz Sharif out of context, clarifying he said Nawaz Sharif had never stated that his party would form a government with PPP after the polls.
