Sindh chief minister holds meeting with MQM team

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah had a meeting with a 4-member delegation of MQM ministers at Chief Minister House. The MQM ministers were Raza Haroon, Faisal Sabzwari, Zubair Ahmed Khan and Shaikh Muhammad Afzal. Besides, Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Durrani and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Enam Memon were also present.
All ministers presented reports pertaining to their departments. Minister for Information Technology Raza Haroon presented report of ARFA Karim information technology city Karachi and project regarding introduction of E-Police system in Sindh. He said that the IT Department has decided to computerise and modernise the Police Department, provide process automation, connectivity and information inflow to the police stations, Central Police Office and prisons all over the province by the utilization of latest technology. Raza Haroon informed that as per project, 70 seats call centres, effective and quick response on emergency calls; reduce the crime and law and order situation, supportive services (Vehicle Tracking System), Monitor and locate the nearest police vehicle.
He further said that with the help of vehicle tracking system, nearest available police mobiles, ambulances and fire brigade will be directed to reach the place of emergency incident immediately. Chief Minister Sindh discussed the issues in detail and assured that these schemes will be thoroughly considered for implantation.-PR
