Pir Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi (Pir Pagaro) and Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman on Tuesday announced that their parties will contest general elections jointly. Seat adjustment would be made on many seats. They announced this while talking to media at Raja House here. Other leaders of both parties were present on the occasion. Head of PML-F and leader of JUI-F discussed international, national and provincial issues. They vowed to serve the country and the nation in a more effective manner.
Talking to media, Pir Pagaro said Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is friend of my father late Pir Pagaro. He served the country and the nation with adjusting in many government set-ups. He vowed that PML-F and JUI-F would jointly fight next general election not only in Sindh but all over the country. He opposed delimitation of constituencies only in Karachi saying that delimitation of constituencies should be done all over the country.
NNI adds: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that religious scholars are not going to London for peace in Karachi. He said it was need of the hour to deweaponise Karachi. He made it clear that clerics needed not to go to London for a conference rather MQM chief Altaf Hussain should come back to the country so that his 'farsighted vision' may be utilised for the restoration of peace in the metropolis on permanent basis. "Terrorists have nothing to do with rule of law; their motto is just the collection of money by hook or crook," he concluded.
