RDI imparting technical and vocational training to 300 jobless youth

Three hundred low educated jobless youth are being imparted technical and vocational training in the fields of Auto Cad, Electrician, and Civil Surveyor at Resource Development Institute (RDI) at Rawat, a subsidiary of the National Foundation for Resource Development (NFRD).
Free of cost training is being given to these youth under Prime Minister's Special Hunarmand Pakistan Programme. Moreover boarding and lodging facility is totally free besides Rs 2,000 monthly stipend per trainee is also being paid, says a press release issued on Tuesday. Training to these 300 youth is being funded by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Prime Minister Secretariat (Public) Islamabad, said Colonel Murtaza Ali Shah Managing Director NFRD during his special briefing to Chairman NAVTTC about the RDI Rawat.
Muhammad Mumtaz Akhtar Kahloon appreciated the efforts of Managing Director, NFRD and staff of RDI in providing quality training to trainees. Chairman NAVTTC during his brief address to the students elaborated the efforts of government under which the unemployed youth are being given technical and vocational training free of cost to enable them earn respectable living for themselves. The Chairman advised the students to work hard and learn the skills with keen interest to get maximum benefit in their practical professional life.-PR
