Taiwan stocks retreated 0.3 percent on Thursday as most electronics makers weakened, pulling back from a nine-week closing high on Wednesday. The main TAIEX index ended down 25.79 points at 7,623.26, marking its first fall in 11 sessions. Electronics and computers and peripherals sub-indexes shed 0.7 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively. One bright spot was Apple supplier Largan Precision. Largan surged 7 percent, the most allowed in a day, on news it posted record monthly sales in November. The Taiwan dollar climbed slightly to stand at T$29.074.
