The Leader of Businessmen Forum and ANP senior Senator, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour said that the extension of PM fiscal relief package for war-affected business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was imminent for complete revival of businesses, saying that the community continually facing with terrorism situation.
He was addressing at a function held his honour by Deans Traders and Professional Association here at Dean's shopping mall. On the occasion, the association president, Shams Afridi, General Secretary, Abdus Sattar Khalil, other office-bearers, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice president Malik Iftikhar Awan, businessmen, traders and others were present.
He said that business community had rendered enormous sacrifices in ongoing war against the terrorism, and continually suffering their business in constant occurring of acts of terrorism. Therefore, he said the extension of PM fiscal relief package for next two years, is mandatory for complete revival of businesses and commercial activities. Senator Ilyas Bilour informed that the federal government had extended the PM fiscal relief package a three year back with efforts of businessmen forum and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti. He further said the package was brought greater impacts for generation of economic activities and revival of businesses in the province.
However, he said that the situation was still unfavourable for businesses due to constantly act of terrorism. "The government should extend the package for further two years while keeping in view the ground realities," he stressed. He said the business community had rendered enormous sacrifices in the ongoing war against terrorism.
Senator Ilayas Bilour claimed that the businessmen forum had played significant role for resolution of problems and issues confronting business community in the province. He vowed that it would continue struggle for welfare and betterment of businesses.
Sharafat Ali Mubarak, the president Markazi Tanzeem Tajraan Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that the business community strongly encouraged the efforts of businessmen forum under leadership of Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour. "We expressed the hope that the forum would continue its struggle for rights of business community", he maintained. The leaders of trade union and businessmen also appreciated that the services of businessmen forum for business community of the province. They extended full support to the forum head, Senator Ilyas Bilour for attainment of common interest for the community, especially extending PM fiscal relief package.
