Vice President, Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI), Usman Bashir Bilour has stressed for mutual co-operation in promotion of trade and economic linkages between two neighbouring Afghanistan and Pakistan. He was addressing at a seminar on Pak Afghan Journalists Conference, said that the promotion of trade would play role for ending the present tension among both the neighbouring states.
Bilour further informed that PAJCCI had taken practical steps for removal of impediments being faced by business community of both the countries, while it was also identifying areas for further provision of facilities to the community. "Both Pakistan and Afghanistan should take serious steps for provision of maximum facilities to both side business community", he stressed. PAJCCI vice president informed the participants of the conference about the initiative taken by the joint chamber for promotion of economic and trade linkages between Pakistan and Afghanistan. "The chamber joint is being playing effective role for improvement of trade linkage among both neighbouring states", he added.
He asked the businessperson to take fully benefits from investment in fresh fruit, dry-fruit and seasonal production of both the countries. He said the confidence building is imminent for promotion of mutual trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Bilour said that the peace and favourable environment would helpful to create maximum opportunities for improvement in trade and economic co-operation between the two countries. The PAJCCI vice president informed the Afghan journalists about the various agreements under the auspicious of the joint chamber, and other issues, reservations of business community of the both neighbouring states. He expressed the hope that the establishment of the Pak-Afghan joint chamber would play an important role for improvement of trade between Afghanistan and central Asian Republic (CAR) states.
