Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House on Sunday. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also present during the meeting. Situation in the province especially the law-and-order situation was discussed during the meeting.
The President appreciated the efforts being made to keep law and order in the province under control. He directed that foolproof security be ensured to the people from all walks of life.
The meeting also reviewed the progress made so far by the Committee for Rehabilitation of the victims of terrorism. The President directed to expedite providing compensation to the victims, especially the widows and hapless families who have suffered from the scourge of militancy and terrorism.
