Member National Assembly (MNA) Pervez Malik said that the Punjab Government has taken drastic measures to uplift the basic healthcare standards across the province. The doctor's salary structure has recently been approved and free medicines are being provided to all the patients in the hospitals.
He was addressing a reception in the honour of delegates of 31st annual conference of Pakistan Association of Dermatologists here at historical Hazooribagh.
Former President LCCI Muhammad Ali Mian, Vice President LCCI Mian Abu Zar Shad, Khawaja Muhammad Akram, Khawaja Shahzeb Akram, Khawaja Jahanzeb Akram, Prof. Dr. Atif Kazmi, Brigadier Dr Zafar Shaikh, Dr. Naseema Kapadia, Dr. Tariq Saeed, Fawad Bashir, Asim Shahzad Malik along with other Doctors relating to Dermatology field attended the ceremony.
Khawaja Shahzeb Akram speaking on the occasion said that this reception is acknowledgement of the academic efforts being made by the dermatologists in the uplift of the health of masses. He appreciated the participation of the delegates from across the globe. He reiterated his aim to provide quality products at an affordable price. He thanked the management of the 31st Pad Conference for staging such a mammoth event successfully.
The chairman organising committee of the conference Prof Dr. Azam Bokhari highlighted the various aspects of the Pad Conference as well as the advancements being made in the field of dermatology.
The organisers of the Pad Conference were awarded with Medals and Shields. Prof Atif Kazmi was awarded the shield in recognition of his meritorious services in the field of dermatology while Prof. Tahir Saeed Haroon was also awarded Life Time Achievement Award.
