Former Ogra chief hiding in Islamabad: Sanaullah

Former chief of Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) Tauqir Sadiq had been hiding inside the Governor's House in Lahore for a long time and he was now living comfortably in Islamabad, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday. The former Ogra chief is wanted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case involving financial corruption of Rs 83 billion.
He said Tauqir Sadiq was not the only one involved in this crime, adding that other accomplices were also providing him shelter. Rana Sanaullah said that IG Punjab, IG Islamabad and IG Motorway were helpless because Tauqir Sadiq was being sheltered in "a large house in Islamabad".
