Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that terrorists destroying schools were enemy to development and bright future of Pakhtuns adding only educated nations can touch the height of development. He was addressing a public meeting in Union Council, Ghaladher, district Mardan, he said that development of trade and industries is impossible without communication network.
MPA Haji Ahmad Khan Bahader, and ANP District General secretary Imran mandori also addressed the gathering. ANP Provincial Vice President Eng. Abbas, Haji Ataullah Khan, Javed Yousufzai, Haji Shah Nawaz Khan, other office bearers and workers were also present on the occasion. Senior office bearers and workers from other parties including Peoples Party announced association to ANP on the occasion.
The CM offered them party red caps and termed their decision a timely and important decision. He said that development and welfare of people of the province was his prior responsibility and he didn't believe in personal criticism. The chief minister said that terrorists burning our schools were enemy to our development and brighter future, saying they are committed to foil their evil designs. He said that importance of promotion of education and roads was undoubted for long-lasting development and prosperity and that was the reason why both these sectors were given prior importance in Mardan.
He said that education of girls was of great importance in current situation because an educated mother guarantee of developed society. On development of the area, the chief minister said that repair and reconstruction of canal roads in Ghaladher Union Council costing Rs 8 million and construction of funeral mosque in Kharo Kalay have been completed. He said that apart from MPA fund additional amount of Rs 21.5 million have been spent on other small schemes.
The chief minister said that road and education play a vital role in development of any area and development without it can't be imagine. He said that construction of bridges and roads costing Rs 180 million in the constituency has been completed. He said that in connection with education Rs 25 million has been spent on construction and up-gradation of primary, middle and high school. Approving new development schemes, he said that he did not believe in false promises, politics of lie was not his nature. He announced construction of examination hall in Ghaladher High school costing Rs 7 million and re-construction of terrorism affected school in Khat Kalay.
He said that enemy to education want to push the Pakhtuns into darkness of ignorance but they are committed for extending light of knowledge and foiling their evil design. He directed for commencement of work on road in Sogai village that will cost Rs 30 million. He approved the construction of another funeral mosque in the area and up-gradation of Ghaladher Maktab school as primary school.
