Saudi factory fire kills six workers

A fire broke out in a factory in eastern Saudi Arabia on Saturday killing six workers, a spokesman for the Jubail industrial zone said, updating an earlier death toll of five. Civil defence teams eventually put out the blaze which began during routine maintenance work at an industrial waste processing plant, Abdel Rahman Abdel Kader told the official SPA news agency. Jubail, on Saudi Arabia's Gulf coast is a major port and petrochemical industry hub.
