Zardari to inaugurate cricket stadium at Garhi Khuda Bux on December 26

Cricket Stadium constructed in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to be inaugurated on 26th December by Pakistan President and Co-Chairman, Pakistan Peoples' Party, Asif Ali Zardari, on the eve of 5th death anniversary commemoration of slain PPP chairperson Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to be observed on 27th December, 2012.
PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf and other PCB officials are arriving here shortly to finalise the arrangements. The stadium has been constructed costing millions of rupees.
A match has also been organised in which those players who have not been selected for Indian tour are expected to participate for which PCB has started contacting them, sources disclosed here on Sunday. First class cricketers and players playing on regional level will also be contacted to form two teams for which preparations are afoot in Garhi Khuda Bux.
Officials and experts of Karachi's National Stadium have been called to prepare international level pitch and water the grass. Police have prepared strict security plan to provide foolproof security hence the match will be held under tight security.
