Chandio criticises Qadri's statement

Federal Minister for Political Affairs Moula Bux Chandio has said that nation cannot afford any political confrontation or march at the stage when people are going to exercise the right to cast vote to elect democratic government of their choice. He said that any such step could harm not only to the democratic institutions but other political parties as well.
Talking to the media persons while visiting Hyderabad Footwear Centre at Rashi Ghaat, Phuleli Hyderabad on Monday, Chandio said that PPP would be the first political party after completing its tenure that intend to hold free & fair elections, transfer the power to new elected government to ensure continuity of democracy in the country.
Responding a question, Chandio said that no one can resolve the chronic issues of the country within three weeks that according to him had being piled up since 65 years. He disagreed with the slogan of accountability before the election and said that only Election Commission of Pakistan has authority to decide. Responding to another question, Chandio said that Pakistan has strong and stable institution, to protect the country but he cannot interfere in their job. He said that PPP was the party of masses and had been arranging big public gathering with hundreds of thousands attendance regularly and added that PPP was not afraid of public gatherings of opponents.
Differentiating with Tahirul Qadri statement about Riyasat and Siyasat (state & politics), he said that state cannot run without politics and added that both were essential for each others. He said that he was also fan of Tahirul Qadri and always listen his speeches. He said that PPP was determined on its ideology to serve and sacrifice for the people and hopefully would be reciprocally responded by poor people during next election.
Expressing his grief over the ANP martyred leader Bashir Ahmed Bilore in a terrorist attack, Moula Bux lauded his services that he rendered for democracy and sacrifices to fight against terrorism. He termed it as big loss of the country. While talking about Hyderabad Leather Footwear Centre, he recalled the old glories of Hyderabad when it was rich due to such industrial units. He said that investment and industries were very much essential for progress and prosperity and PPP government was encouraging and facilitating industrialists at Hyderabad to generate income, employment and output in the district.
