Dr Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly has said that to attain a respectable and dignified place in the comity of nations every Pakistani should follow the golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She said that we should focus on unity, faith and discipline to lead Pakistan to progress and prosperity. She expressed these views in her message to nation on 136th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The speaker said that Quaid-e-Azam was a great leader of 20th Century and was a symbol of integrity and honesty. He won a free homeland for Muslims of India and defeated colonial powers and Hindu majority with his principled stand and un-tiring struggle, she added. Fehmida Mirza said that Quaid-e-Azam envisioned Pakistan as a democratic impregnable welfare state where people could live with peace, love, fraternity and harmony. Quaid also desired that every citizen should have equal opportunities of education, health, progress and justice, she said.
The speaker said that the befitting way to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam is to forge unity among our ranks, work hard for the progress and prosperity of the country and follow the golden principles of Quaid-e-Azam to overcome the challenges confronting the country.-PR
