Small Business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday as leading participants were on the sidelines due to upward trend in rates, dealers said. On the cereals side, Gur low type was up by Rs 200 to Rs 5200 while the fine variety was inert at Rs 6000, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type gained Rs 30 to Rs 3190 and the low inched up by Rs 10 to Rs 3250, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. On the grams side, Bajra lo variety was unchanged at Rs 2700 while the best type was sharply higher by Rs 460 to Rs 3240, they said. On the seeds side, Till fell steeply by Rs 300 to Rs 5500 and the good variety was down by Rs 300 to Rs 580, dealers said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type was inert at Rs 900, other items did not move any side in process of business, they said.
