Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday strongly condemned target killing in Karachi in which many were killed and injured while vehicles were torched. While offering condolences to the family members of the deceased, Imran expressed concern over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in Karachi.
He strongly condemned the damage to public life and property. He said his party believes that supporters of violence aim to destroy national unity by targeting innocent people. He also warned the government of its inefficient governance, which is resulting in these target killings. The Chairman appealed the people of Karachi to remain calm and help restore peace in the financial hub of the country. "Acts of violence will only cause further damage to the public and is not a solution to the underlying problem," he added.
