Sindh United Party (SUP) on Wednesday asked the government to announce the schedule of upcoming general elections as anti-democratic forces were active to derail the democratic system in the country. Central Leader of SUP, Shah Mohammad Shah said this while addressing a press conference here at his residence. PML-N's Salim Zia, Ismail Rahoo and others were present on the occasion.
He said that PML-N and SUP would field joint candidates on many constituencies in Sindh and people would support them. He said that PPP had lost its credibility after failing to deliver on every front. Sindh has virtually been divided into two parts by introducing two local government systems in the province, he added. To a question, Shah said that he had heard the "Bhashan" of Tahir-ul-Qadri, adding that he (Qadri) had come to derail democracy in the country. He said that the PML-N with the support of SUP and other parties would not allow any individual or party to sabotage the democratic process in the country.
