Call for adopting fuel saving measures on priority basis

"There is dire need for adopting fuel saving measures on priority basis to keep the ever-mounting oil import bill under check on the reasonably lower side to the maximum extent possible through use of innovative technology based equipment at mass level in the country."
This was stated by Lahore-based concern, Future Technologies' Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shoaib Ashfaq Qureshi while talking to visitors including Gymkhana Club Chairman Ziaur Rahman, other members and their guests at his company's stall in the Family Funfair at the Gymkhana Club here.
He said that adoption of fuel saving measures had become imperative in view of the bitter fact that the country was meeting almost 85 percent of its requirements through oil imports. Responding to the queries about small innovative fuel saving gadget, Panther, on display there, he said the internationally-tested and certified device was effective for petrol, diesel and CNG rum vehicles and helped in increasing vehicles' existing mileage up to 25 percent.
"The equipment increases vehicle's torque, horsepower and engine smoothness providing the car more power with less fuel when the gadget is inducted in the cigarette lighter as it starts working instantly and efficiently," he added. He emphatically said the solution to fuel saving would only be achieved by following international standards and methods in this regard, adding the global fuel economy standards could only provide a long-term road map for achieving fuel saving massively at the national level.-PR
