The Lahore High Court on Wednesday recovered 52 workers from illegal detention of a kiln owner of Raiwind. A relative of the detainees alleged that the kiln owner Haji Naseer had detained 52 members of clan and subjected them to torture to get forced labour. The court had deputed a bailiff for the recovery of the alleged detainees including ten women, 20 minors and 22 men.
The court freed all the recovered kiln workers and directed the concerned police to get their medical examination for further proceedings against the kiln owner.
