Chief Executive of Foundation for Rehabilitation and Education of Slow Children (FRESH) Ashba Kamran congratulated Ahmed Shafiq, Executive Director of the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) on his appointment as Chairman of Standing Committee on Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and Sector Skill of the LCCI for the year 2012-13.
Ashba Kamran expressed the hope that Ahmed Shafiq will play effective role in formulating the tourism policy for the province of Punjab through the platform of LCCI. She said the COTHM has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FRESH on educating and training of FRESH students in hospitality and hotel management. Accordingly, a good number of slow learners have joined COTHM under the leadership of Ahmed Shafiq for their bright future.
She said the FRESH is endeavouring hard to educate and train the slow learners at its Green Meadows Schools System and support of stable institutions like COTHM is actually a stitch in time to save the future of slow learners in Pakistan. Ashba said that FRESH has also launched a successful awareness campaign with the name of Pakistan Association for Difficulties in Learning (PADIL), which has proved a big success in recent months due to the support of institutions like COTHM and APTMA.-PR
