Pagara seeks to unite all factions of Muslim League

Chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), Pir Sabghat-u-llah Shah Rashdi (Pir Pagara), has said that he or his party don't need any government office rather they wanted to unite all factions of Muslim League. This he said while talking to media after meeting PML-Q's central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi here at Raja House on Wednesday.
Former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, former Punjab Governor Ghulam Mustafa Khar, Imtiaz Shaikh and others were also present on the occasion. He said that PML-F was working for the betterment of country. He further said that Pervez Elahi had come to meet him to discuss current political scenario. He refused to answer a question about the next phase of the movement against SPLGA 2012, saying that it will take some time and media should be patient.
On the occasion, Pervez Elahi said that it was a routine meeting with Pir Pagara. "We are friends, earlier Shujaat had also met Pir Sahib," he added. He said that political parties were finalizing their strategies for the next elections. To a question about Tahir-ul-Qadri, Elahi said that only a certain party felt threat from Qadri. Earlier, Elahi held an hour long one-on-one meeting with Pagara.
