Qissa Khawani blast victims: Compensation sought

Local Printers and Publishers demanded of the government to announce a special compensation package for the heirs of Qissa Khawani bomb blast victims. Addressing at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, the vice president, Frontier Printers and Publishers Association, Jamaat Ali Shah said that the SP Hilal Haider, including traders and other people have fallen prey of Qissa Khawani bomb blast on December 07.
He said the association president Zafar Khattak was also injured, while Asghar Khan a local trader engaged with printers business also killed in the explosion. He said the city district administration has announced to extend compensation package for victims of bomb blast, which is yet to be materialised. Shah said that it is sheer injustice with local traders. We had protested against the indifferent attitude of the local government, despite that no tangible steps taken in this regard, he lamented.
