The negative reaction showed by the two leading political parties on the confidence reposed by people in Dr Tahir ul Qadri following his address at the historic meeting at Minar Pakistan is reflective of their nervousness and disappointment with the future.
Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran, Nazim Karachi, Latafat Mehmood addressing workers from Lyari at Cantt railway station on his return from Lahore said that upholding the constitution and restoration of people's rights through peaceful struggle is the only agenda of Tehrik.
He said that the nation on the call of Dr Qadri is well prepared and ready to hold Awami parliament in Islamabad. Rectification of the electoral process was the need of the hour and if that is not achieved, country's existence would be in danger. "We want to carry the people with us to save Quaid-e-Azam's Pakistan," he said. Ishtiaq Alvi who greeted Latafat Mehmood at the railway station along with the delegation said the hardships that may come in our way to Islamabad would not deter us from completing out mission and the people from Karachi with new vigour will participate in the long march on January 14.
