Local Shiites and activists of Tehrik-i-Insaf, Mutahidda Shehri Mahaz organised two demonstrations here on Sunday to condemn the killing of 19 Shiite Muslim pilgrims to Iran killed in Mastung on Sunday. More than 100 people attended each demonstration. The demonstrators expressed sympathy with bereaved families and shouted slogans against the Government for its failure to protect the lives of Shiites in Pakistan.
Tehrik-i-Insaf and Mutahidda Shehri Mahaz (United Citizen Front) staged a demonstration at Chungi No.9 on Sunday afternoon to condemn the Taliban for killing 21 soldiers of Para Military force near Peshawar and 19 Shia pilgrims in Mastung when a caravan of 180 pilgrims was on its way to Iran. The demo was led by Tariq Naeemullah Khan and Marouf Khan.
