Hectic efforts being made to resolve energy issue: Dr Firdous

Federal Minister for National Regulations and Services Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that resolving of energy issue was top on government agenda because government wants to ensure productive across the country.
To make sure the government was taking all possible measures to resolve the energy crisis at earliest possible to facilitate the industrial sector to keep the production wheel in full motion in the country, she said.
Addressing a public meeting at Kotli Loharan, she said that PPP government not responsible for the current electricity outage it was due to the poor policies of past governments as a result of which the people were suffering in the country.
The government was making hectic efforts to solve the problems being faced by the common man and backwardness from the politically neglected areas of the country, she said. Dr Firdous further said that all basic facilities like gas, electricity, means of communication and telecommunication were being provided in ignored and far-off areas of the country.
The minister said PPP has always promoted the policy of reconciliation and tolerance instead of adopting the stance confrontation adding that Bilawal Zardari Bhutto will follow the same spirit and continue the politics of reconciliation and policy of serving the people. PPP led government was striving hard for ensuring socio-economic justice and protection of people's right in the country she said.
