Federal Minister for Law Farooq H. Naek on Sunday said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had been constituted as per the Constitution, therefore, neither the body would be dissolved nor the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will be removed.
Talking to media persons, the Minister said that announcing the date of next general elections was President's discretion and he (President) would himself made announcement to this effect. He said that the President would dissolve the national assembly on the advice of the Prime Minister.
