The two rivals Blackberry and Microsoft have decided to team up together in order to provide work phones with more security and productivity.

The two tech companies revealed their partnership through which a user would be allowed to easily use Microsoft’s Office 365-capable mobile apps from a Blackberry’s more secure, contained Dynamics space. The partnership is aimed at those organizations that are heavily dependent on smartphones for communication among their employees.

As per Engadget, their partnership further goes on to Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. Blackberry Dynamics and few other services are made available through Azure to those platforms that live in a Microsoft world.

Both Blackberry and Microsoft hope that their collaboration would prove to be beneficial for business customers including banks, governments, health care providers and other than have both the companies as their customers. Moreover, Google’s G Suite initially marked as a threat to the two companies’ services and through this team-up, the companies can improve themselves and counter Google.
