Police asked to provide foolproof security to polio teams

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has directed police high ups and all district administrations concerned to provide foolproof security to polio teams of World Health Organisation (Who) during the ongoing anti-polio campaign in the province. The KPK Home and Tribal Affairs Department, while issuing a statement, asked district police officials, divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to make arrangements for providing security to the Who's polio campaigners.
It said that this decision has been taken after a meeting of security co-ordination committee. In this connection the home and tribal affairs department, formally issued directives to the district administration concerned. The Who is planning to carry out post-polio drive so that to administer the drops to those kids who have been deprived of vaccination in the last campaign.
