The University of Lahore (UOL) participated in seventh All Pakistan Engineering Conference (Apec) at Institute of Engineering and Technology of Ghluam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI) and wins Overall Best Performance Trophy.
Students from UOL Department of Electrical Engineering Mohsin Abbas, Imran Ahmed, Syed Arslan Bukhari and Shahid Raheem took part with their radio controlled hovercraft project named as "Qarrar - The Warrior" which is capable of moving over land and water using a cushion of air under the supervision of Project Adviser Dr Musharraf A Hanif. "Qarrar - The Warrior" has secured first position in 'Speed Wiring' and 'Conceive, Implement and Compete' rounds and second in 'RC Hovercraft Challenge'.
