KOPYKATS, Nestle Fruita Vitals to stage 'Aangan Terrha'

KOPYKATS Productions has a proud heritage of producing original and quality Urdu theatre plays since 2007. Beginning its venture from Islamabad, KOPYKATS had spread its wings to Karachi in 2011 and currently travels nation-wide with plans to tour internationally.
Anwar Maqsood, whose illustrious 45-year career in writing for TV, penned for the first time for KOPYKATS and for theatre the smash-hit 'Pawnay 14 August', which became an overnight success and broke all theatrical records in Pakistan. After 100 performances all over the country and much success for Pawnay 14 August, now KOPYKATS and NESTLÉ FRUITA VITALS are proud to bring to stage renowned Pakistani writer, Anwar Maqsood's classic 'Aangan Terrha', which was a satirical TV series presented by the PTV Network in the late 1980s.
The drama was based on many stories on multiple issues of the society and indirect criticism on the Martial Law and the electoral system. The story revolves around a servant, Akbar, previously a classical dancer, working at the house of a retired civil servant Mehboob Ahmed and his wife JehanAra Begum who are trying to make ends meet with Mehmood Ahmed's meager pension.-PR
