Work on drainage scheme for Tando Muhammad Khan to begin soon: Qaim

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that the services rendered by the PPP during last five years had not been rendered by previous regimes during last 25 years. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari and other PPP leaders were following the foot prints of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto whose services to the poor people could not be forgotten.
He said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto made the Pakistan as stronger by giving atomic power and today we are proud of it that we are emerging as stronger nation. This he observed while addressing a big public gathering at Tando Muhammad Khan last night. He announced that the work on drainage scheme of Tando Muhammad Khan would be started within a few weeks. He also announced the de-silting of the Irrigation canals in Tando Muhammad Khan and Thatta districts.
He said that some people are hatching conspiracies and creating hurdles in the way of forthcoming election but PPP would foil their nefarious designs and to hold free and fair elections in time which according to him were very much essential for the prosperity and political stability of the country. He said we built hospitals, schools, colleges, universities, roads and communication infrastructure and added that only in Tando Muhammad Khan Rs 1.5 billion had been spent.
