Declining trend on grain market

Most of the commodity items slid on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, traders said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 lost Rs 700 to Rs 5800-6200 and gram Australia Dall No 1 followed same pattern, losing Rs 600 to Rs 7100 and 7500, Graam Australia No 2 dropped by Rs 400 to Rs 5700-6100, Grams Australia Dall No 2 fell by Rs 500 to Rs 7100-7500, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh low type inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 3280 and the best type shed Rs 50 to Rs 330, other types maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type retained overnight levels at Rs 500 while the best variety was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 600, cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh (new) was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 900-950, Til low type dropped by Rs 300 to Rs 5900 and the good type was down by Rs 400 to Rs 6200, they added. Prices were unchanged on the cereals side, they added.
