MQM ministers hand their resignations over to governor

Sindh ministers belonging to Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday formally submitted their resignations to Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad following MQM's announcement to quit the PPP-led coalition government because of various grievances.
Eleven ministers belonging to MQM have resigned from the Sindh cabinet. MQM ministers went to the Governor's House and handed over their resignations to the Secretary to the Governor.
Meanwhile, Deputy Convenor of MQM Dr Farooq Sattar said that his party's decision to part ways with the government was "final". He said that the decision had been taken after a thorough discussion with party members. He insisted that MQM would now sit on opposition benches in the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly. Meanwhile‚ three Special Assistants to the Chief Minister, also belonging to MQM, also submitted their resignations to the Chief Minister.
