Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted new spell of rain and snowfall in mountainous regions across the country from Wednesday (today). According to PMD, a fresh westerly wave would persist for two days that would result in widespread rain followed by thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) and scattered heavy rainfalls in Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu divisions.
