A delegation of PPP Tharparkar district, led by MNA Mukesh Kumar Malani and former MPA Makhdoom Saeed-uz-Zaman called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the CM House here. They discussed progress ongoing development projects in Tharparkar district, said a statement issued on Sunday.
Mukesh Kumar informed the CM that the present government has completed the scheme of provision of water to 17 colonies in district headquarters Mithi. The scheme has provided water to more than 10,000 people, he added.
Another schemes about supply of drinking water will be inaugurated in one or two days, he said.
The Sindh CM said Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had envisaged a policy and strategy for development of neglected areas and to provide jobs to the residents of the same. The Thar coal energy project has been designed with the vision to bring prosperity and development to Sindh province, the CM said.
