Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the day of accountability of thieves and looters, who have plundered the hard earned money of the poor nation, has come closer and as a result of general elections to be held within a few months the masses will rule the country while those who looted national resources ruthlessly will be behind the bars.
Addressing a big public meeting at village Ludhar, Bedian Road near Lahore on Sunday Shahbaz Sharif said that had Zardari and his cronies not plundered national wealth during last five years, the country would not have been facing darkness, industrial sector would not have been shut down and agriculture, education, health and other sectors not been destroyed. " Zar Baba and Forty Thieves have emptied the national exchequer, corruption is rampant and billions of rupees have been plundered," he claimed .
He alleged that President Zardari and cronies had ruined agriculture and industrial sectors and the time had come for strict accountability of the plunderers of national wealth. "People will have to elect such a leadership which gave solid economic policies to the country, made it a nuclear power and turned down the American offer of five billion dollars," he underlined.
He said that if opportunity was given by the people, PML-N would make Pakistan a developed and prosperous country under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and every penny of public money would be recovered from the looters and utilized for the benefit of the masses.
