The killing spree in Karachi continued unabated as six more persons, two political workers among them, were reported killed in incidents of violence in various localities on Wednesday. Police claimed finding the body of a man, who was later identified as Abdul Waheed alias Shehzad, 25, near the Samo Goth graveyard in the limits of Memon Goth police station. Police said the deceased, who was hit by two bullets on his head and chest, was a resident of Musarat Colony in Malir.
Another man named Rashid, 34, was gunned down near Auliya Masjid in Sector 36-G, of Landhi. Police said the victim was an active worker of MQM's Unit No83. A tailor named Muhammad Ali Bhatti was killed in his shop near Jauhar Complex in the limits of Saachal police station. Police said the deceased was had links with a nationalist party.
Qadir Hussain, 62, was shot dead in Korangi No21/2 in the limits of Zaman Town police station. Police said the victim, who was father of four, might have been killed over a personal enmity.
Another man named Pash Khan lost his life in a drive-by shooting at Lea Market in the jurisdiction of Kharadar police station. Police said citing eyewitness statements that he was killed because of a personal feud. Jalal, 25, was killed and another injured in an armed attack near Murtaza Chowrangi in the limits of Awami Colony police station. Police said the injured was Maqbool, 26.
