Taiwan stocks rose 0.3 percent to a near one-year closing high on Monday, led by gains in AU Optronics and Innolux. The main TAIEX index advanced 23.58 points to 8,038.72, a level not seen since March 2012. Innolux and AU, the world's No 3 and No 4 flat panel makers, were up by the 7-percent daily limit and 4.9 percent, respectively. Banks jumped 0.7 percent. The Taiwan dollar was up T$0.037 to stand at T$29.681 to the US dollar.
