Rangers on Wednesday claimed to have nabbed some 20 suspects and recovered weapons during a search operation in Orangi Town area. Official sources said that heavy contingent of Rangers personnel cordoned off Faiz-e-Aam society and launched door-to-door search that led to arrests of 20 suspects including four high-profile target killers with weapons of some 25 different calibers.
Following the said action, the residents took to streets and expressed resentment by burning tyres and pelting moving vehicles with near Urdu chowk. The sources said the operation was initiated on a tip-off that revealed that some high profile criminals were hiding in the area and added that some 300 personnel including female officials took part in the operation. Moreover, the sources claimed that four high profile criminals were detained in the operation.
