The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Thursday adjourned hearing of a petition to March 15 challenging appointments made by Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal. Some employees of the PA moved the petition by submitting that speaker was appointing voters of his constituency at the vacant seats in the assembly after violating the merit and concerned rules. They said the speaker had also amended assembly rules in order to achieve his 'target'.
