Rangers on Friday claimed to have arrested 36 suspects including a member of outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and alleged target killer in separate raids in different areas of the city.
According to ranger's spokesman, on a tip-off heavy contingent of law enforcers cordoned off different areas of the metropolis including Yousuf Goth (Baldia Town), Saudabad, Malir, Khokrapark, Gharibabad and Sohrab Goth and took at least 30 suspected men into custody and recovered heavy cache of weapons from their possession. He revealed that at least 10 suspects including a man affiliated with Lyari Gang, Zubair Pathan, were apprehended. According to him, Zubair was involved in case of 35 people's murder, target killing and extortion.
