Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor assures support to tribal people

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Shaukatullah has said that the loyalty of tribal people of FATA always remained unflinching ever since we achieved independence which beyond doubt is well acknowledged. He said this while talking to different delegations of elders from North Waziristan and Momand Agencies which called on him at Governor House, Peshawar on Friday.
He further stated that it will always be his utmost effort to meet the demand of the people of FATA for provision of quality education to the maximum extent. Responding to the demands put forward by the elders from the North Waziristan Agency, the Governor assured to upgrade Girls High School Mir Ali to higher secondary level. Referring to a demand for construction of spurs along Tochi River, the Governor assured to seek a comprehensive report and look into the possibility to launch a mega project.
The delegation was also comprised Esamuddin, Madraz Khan, Bostan Khan, Noor Wali Khan, Fida Muhammad, Malik Akbar Khan, Wakeel Khan, Ghiasuddin, Ghazi Mir Khan, Rasool Ghulam, Azeemullah and Dr Zia-ur-Rehman. While talking to a delegation of elders from Momand Agency further stated that he is quite aware of the desires of the tribes of both the Agencies for improvement of educational facilities and every possible step will be taken to fulfil their aspirations. Meanwhile talking to a delegation of minorities, the Governor while appreciating the services and role of minorities in development of the province as well as FATA has assured that every possible effort will be continued to ensure their well-being.
